Wickham Park

Adjacent to the Brevard Community College-Melbourne Campus, this 391.04-acre regional park features a variety of recreational opportunities. A scenic drive winds through the park’s open areas, pine woods and lakes. Camping, community events, special interest and equestrian activities are hosted at this expansive park. Nestled in the pine forest are 88 campsites with water and electric hookups, as well as 25 overflow c a m p s i t e s . Shower rooms, laundry, group camping site, and fire pit are nearby. Recreational amenities include 2 seasonally guarded swimming lakes, disc golf course, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, playground, multipurpose and soccer fields (home of Space Coast United Soccer). An exercise trail, nature trails, and horse trails offer additional attractions, with an equestrian area at the southwest corner of the park. An office/visitors reception facility and a xeriscape garden are near the park entrance, with several pavilions and many picnic tables located throughout the park. An event pavilion with banquet kitchen is positioned at the north end of the park adjacent to the community college south parking area, and an amphitheater is centrally located near the campgrounds.
